What was your first experience with pro-life work?

I was fifteen, a sophomore in high school, and God directed me to a forum post about the Students' Day of Silent Solidarity. I participated in that, and within seven months I was in Virginia for my first Stand True Summer Tour.

Why are you working with Stand True this summer?

Because God is awesome and knows exactly what He wants me to do.  As I said above, I went on half tour the summer I was sixteen; I loved it, and wanted to come back in summer 2007.  God had other plans for me - including pro-life training in California - and now He is letting me come back.  I'm happy about it, and God made it pretty clear this is where He wants me . . . so I'm working with Stand True this summer because both God and I think it's a good idea (which is rare - usually God has much better ideas than I do, and I still try to get my way).

What is your favorite Bible verse?

Since I have to pick just one . . . Ephesians 2:8 - It is by grace that you were saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is a gift of God." I don't have what it takes to be a Christian or to be anything.  God gives me everything , and the awesome part about that is I can lean on Him for everything , taking from Him when I don't have what it takes to make it through the next five minutes.

What is your favorite book (other than the Bible)?

Eclipse , by Stephenie Meyer.  However, this is subject to change without notice.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream in the morning? Mocha or chocolate.

Who is your hero (other than Jesus)?

I wasn't aware that I had one. I admire a lot of people, but I wouldn't say that any one was my hero.

If you were stuck on a desert island (with a CD player) for the rest of your life, what 5 CDs would you take with you?

1) Paul Alan - Falling Awake
2) Paul Alan - Drive It Home
3) Skillet - Ardent Worship (Live)
4) Demon Hunter - Storm the Gates of Hell
The first four were easy . . . the fifth is harder.  There are several I'd want, so after some deliberation . . .
5) Oddly Familiar - Some Say Ignorance Is Bliss
