What was your first experience with pro-life work?

I have participated in the last two Silent Day of Solidarity's, as well as I walked in the March for Life 2007.

Why are you working with Stand True this summer?

I believe in what Stand True does, and how they go about making a difference. Instead of protesting, they have faith in the power of prayer. Instead of just wanting babies to be saved, they also care about people who have yet to learn of the love of Jesus Christ. Isn't that what it's ultimately about?

What is your favorite bible verse?

Ecclesiastes 3:1-15. This passage is titled “there's a right time for everything.” Verse 15 encompasses it all saying “Whatever was, is. Whatever will be, is. That's how it always is with God (The Message Remix) .” Incredible, yeah?

What is your favorite book other than the Bible?

Oh gosh, I have no idea. I go through stages where I read more than I sleep. Authors of my favorite books are, Donald Miller, Rob Bell, Shane Claiborne and Jack Kerouac. Oh, and Sylvia Plath, and Brennan Manning.

What is your favorite flavor of ice cream in the morning?

Hmm, I'm not a big ice cream eater, and yet, in the morning? I would have to be incredibly hungry and I'd most likely choose butter pecan.

Who is your hero (other than Jesus)?

My parents are pretty amazing people, simple as that.

If you were stuck on a desert island (with a cd player) for the rest of your life what 5 cds would you take with you?

Dang, what an insane question!
As Cities Burn – Come Now Sleep
A compilation of all things mewithoutYou
Bradley Hathaway's poems, songs, and his new stuff that he has yet to record.
A mix of underOaths' Define the Great Line and Showbreads' Age of Reptiles.
And a mix of prophetic worship music.
Yikes. The longer I look at this list the more I want to change it, and then change it back again.
